Day Trader / Options & Futures Trader / Analyst

About the Role:

 With over 15 years of experience in the markets, we have developed a powerful and reliable breakout trading system that has been designed to consistently beat prop firms. We are looking for committed, driven traders who are ready to work with a proven strategy and master the art of Day trading.

Qualifications:

• Highly motivated self-starter capable of consistently executing established processes who also possesses a relentless desire to serve others and make things better
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex information and communicate key messages to a wide variety of audiences
• Strong quantitative acumen and analytical skills; advanced proficiency in excel a must; experience with large data sets also a plus.
• Proven history of building collaborative relationships with internal      and external stakeholders
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to respond to shifting priorities
• Intellectually curious, ability to learn quickly, and a desire to share knowledge with others
• Know how to accept LOSSES

Education & Work experience:

• Undergraduate degree required, major in math, business, economics  or related field a plus
• prefer 2 to 5 years of professional experience in investment research, trading, and/or portfolio management. Education in the above fields can be a partial substitute for experience.
• Proficient with Thinkorswim Trading Platform a Plus but not required
• Passion for Day Trading – Focused on S&P 500 ETF & Options
• Willingness to commit to mastering the strategy and improving through continuous learning and discipline

Additional Information:

• The position follows New York market hours. A typical day is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Mountain time.
• Glimmer Technologies office is in Jacksonville, Florida with sub-Office in the Philippines. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, subject to client meetings and other factors.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
